Artwork not displaying correctly when printed

Hello, I'm fairly new to illustrator And I was wondering is someone could help.

I have an eps file created in illustrator that looks all fine to me, but when I send it to a printer they are finding an error. Please see attachments of what it should look like and how to comes out their end.

I was wondering if you knew what would cause this type of issue and how I can replicate it my end to check any fix.

They are probably importing that file into a different app and since the path overlaps itself, the fill rule applies. Maybe it's set differently on their end.

The only thing you could do is save a PDF and then have someone print it who uses Acrobat. So when it looks OK in Acrobat at your end, then it will look the same on the printer's end.

I would rather do this but the client is requesting an .EPS file.

In that case: make this in a way, that there is no self-overlapping path.
