Hi, my illustrator often crashes while I work with the clipping mask.

I use the microsoft online storage called "One drive" connecting to my local desk, which I open and save all the AI work, images to use for the clipping mask.

Does this situatin cause the crash on the illustrator?
Is there any other online storage better to work with illustrator?

I appreciate if anyone could give me an advise.

Does it work on the local disk when you save to a folder that is not synchronized?

Thank you for your reply.

I'm not sure for 100%, but It seems working so far.

I can save the files little quicker to a folder on the local disk which is not synchronised to the online storage.

Hi,

IDrive is a good online storage service but I se the Mac version. I would advise you to do some research for Windows.

I have good experience with saving in the local Creative Cloud files folder. Files are saved locally and when saving is finished synched to the creative cloud. It is nice to have a backup this way, but don't forget to make regular backups yourself.

Saving files in the CC Files folder is not the same as the more recent Cloud Documents feature, where files are not saved locally and cannot be backuped (which can lead to loss of your work when things go wrong).

See for Cloud synching:
