Blank Screen on Illustrator and Photoshop on Mac OS

Im having issues opening Illustrator or Photoshop. Once i open the program it doesnt launch just a blank gray screen. No tabs that asked you to create new (the typical welcome tab that you get). I have to drag my previous works to the icon and it opens. I can edit but thats about it. I cannot even "Save as" or make "New" work space.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling. i did the ".old" renaming, did the ~/library thing, but still not working.

I attached a screenshot of the window i get everytime i open Illustrator!!

A help is highly appreciated!!

Hi there,

Sorry to hear about this issue. Please try following these steps one by one and let us know how it goes:

• Rename CEP folder from /Library/Application Support/Adobe  to CEP.old
• If that doesn't help, rename extensions folder from /Library/Application Support/Adobe/UXP to extensions.old
• If that doesn't help either, uninstall the application using Cleaner tool (https://helpx.adobe.com/in/creative-cloud/kb/cc-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html) and reinstall from the Creative Cloud Desktop app (https://helpx.adobe.com/in/download-install/using/download-creative-cloud-apps.html).
