Blend tool doesn't work with freedom gradient or gradient mesh.

Hi All,

Messing around with the blend tool and gradients, I have noticed that it doesn't work if I intend to blend objects filled with a freedom gradient or gradient mesh.
Is it just a limitation or there's a workaround?

I would guess that it's just too complex. If I wanted something that resembled a blend between freeform gradients or meshes, I would probably build the whole thing as a gradient mesh.
