Blue Box not appearing, can't adjust size of shape

I'm very new to using Illustrator. For some reason, when I click on a shape I've made, the blue box doesn't appear. I can't adjust the size. I'm not sure if I changed my settings by accident or anything. How do I get it back?

Go the View ->  Show Bounding Box o

or

View -> Show Edges
