What does this mean? (Sorry to be so stupid)
It is a shortcut to switch the preview from being rendered by your computer processor or your graphics card.
You can also select from the View menu > View using CPU.
Is this only happening in Illustrator? Are you sure it isn't a graphics card issue in general?
