Call Illustrator existing tools from c++

Hi everyone,

do you know a way to call an existing tool from my c++ plugin? For instance, I would like to activate the built-in pen tool to extend it and to add some actions at the end of the path drawing.

Maybe also just calling a script would do the work. But I don't know how to do it.

Any idea?
