As is shown in the begining of the video,
you can scale equally the squares by pressing ALT and click on one side and move.
Is there a similar way to make the squares closer to the middle?
like the right shape 5 cm to the center and also 5 cm the shape on the right to the center?
Cause what im doing now, is moving them manually counting how many time i press the arrows to move one shape and then do the same to the other shape.
Thanks!
There would have to be something in the center to reference; a 3rd object, a guide; something.

To move an object 5 cm to the left:
To move an object 5 cm to the right:
Note: This assumes your x axis origin is at the left edge of the artboard, or in any case, that the target objects are positioned to right of that origin.

As always, you're correct, Jacob. minus=left, plus=right is constant regardless of the x orgin's relative proximity. I was overthinking it, which resulted in underthinking it.

Add a vertical line between the shapes, select all three and use Distribute to specify your distance, with the line as the key object. You can then delete the extra line.
