can not see image

hello, I can't  speak english well, so  you can't understand my problem.

I want to place image,  but image file is PNG..  So I chane jpg file.. 

However I can't see my image.. I can see only white square..

how can I solve this problem?? Help me Please:(

Did you convert the image using an image editor such as Photoshop?

Did you also convert it to 8 bit per channel?

Do not change to .jpg.

What happens if you press Ctrl/Cmd+Y?

You can also try View > Show Transparency Grid if it is a white PNG.
