Can't save as pdf in illustrator

I can not save a file as pdf in illustrator with this err massage."This file does not have an app associated with it for performing this action.please install an app or if one is already installed create an association in the default app settings page illustrator problem"

Uncheck"View after saving"

And then in the system you need to define whichapp touse for the filetype PDF.

Please refer to the system documentation on how to do that.
