Can we undo a revert in illustator 2020 ???

i just lost 8 hours of work and the only place i was saving was on Illustrator when i was working 😞

No, nothing has changed in regard to Revert.

Sorry no. In effect, the Revert command permanently discards all operations since the last Save.

You statement does confuse me a bit though:

"...lost 8 hours of work and the only place i was saving..."

If you were "saving," during that 8 hours, then you can't have lost it all.
