Cant open a shared file

I am getting a 'Cant open file - the account youve singned in with doesnt have access to this file. Contact the owner for more info'. The files have been shared with me and  have been able to open them in the past. The owner has reshared with me numerous times.

Is this CC file sharing? Cloud documents? Or another sharing mechanism?

I did contact the owner, and everything is in order on her side. It is CC.
