I need some help, when I add texture for a curve with a clipping mask, it creates a doming effect under it.  How do I get rid of that? Thank you.courbe.jpg

Clipping masks will always close open paths.

You need to outline the stroke.

Or use an opacity mask.

Thank you Monika,

It worked with Outline Stroke but I have to make a compound path to avoid a message it says the top object is very complex and may cause the document to fail.

Thanks for your help.
