I am having trouble getting the fill on my object to fill the area of the object instead of the areas outside of it. Since the object is made up of separate paths, I have tried to make it a compound path and I am still facing the same problem. I feel like there is a function to solve my problem, could really just a second pair of eyes on this one.
Edit:
I'm editing this graphic within Illustrator and its end product will be printed, apologies for the lack of details
Select all those paths and first set their fill to none.
Then take the live paint tool and fill the inside.
How will this artwork be used? Printed? Put into an animation? Will you do some further editing? Bending that arm or the like?
ham smith,
I believe you can just use Live Paint. The issue is that each path gets a fill with an (open) edge between the end Anchor Points.

Live paint bucket tool did the trick, thanks so much for the help!
Btw the arm is part of the logo graphic for a clothing company I am working to start.
