Color Sliders Suddenly Not Working in Gradient Window

So..... all of a sudden, I am not able to change gradient colors using the sliders in the gradient window. Clicking on them usually brings up the color silders. Now it does nothing. Any ideas how to fix this?

Which AI version? Which System?

AI CS6, installed version, not creative cloud.  Mac OS High Sierra 10.13.6.

I have a newer system, 10.14.6 and that works (with CS6 16.2.1).

Did you try restart Illustrator, your machine, new document?

Does drag and drop from the Swatches panel to a gradient stop work, or changing the color in the Color panel when a stop is selected?
