Colored box appears when outlining text

Hi everyone,

I’ve come across an issue that I can’t seem to work out what has caused it.

When I outline text, a colored box appears only sometimes. I don’t know what has caused it or even how to recreate the issue.

See below example.

That is the area of your area text. Can you please check if you have any appearances applied to it before outlining the text? Select it with the direct selection tool and then check the appearance panel.
