Hi. My goal is to have text ON A PATH look the same as the premade Text effect that I purchased.
Is there a way to do this?

I tried making a circle, then using the type on a path tool. it was black. Then I tried dropping the effects from the premade's little circle in the layers panel onto its circle in the layers panel...but it was still black. Only the font changed.

How do I do this?

Thank you.

If it is really a text Effect, you should be able to see it in the Appearance panel when the text is selected.

If it is visible in the Appearance panel, save it as a Graphic style in the Graphic Styles panel.

The style can then be applied to other text
