CPU preview?

When i drop an image from web directly into a CMYK illustrator artoboard, all the color change and CMYK/Preview switch to CMYK/CPU preview....  I am on Mac, Retina 5K, Catalina, Illustrator 25.2.1

It is normal that colors change when you go from RGB to CMYK, but the switch to CPU preview is not.

Can you check if your color settings emulate Illustrator 6?

Hi, I have a kind of similar issue. Suddly my file switch from Preview to CPU Preview and I don't know how to put it back to Preview

Sorry for the delayed response. This has been reported by many users using Nvidia GPU & some Apple Mac users as well.

Would you mind sharing a few details like:

• The exact version of OS & Illustrator
• System details, including GPU make & model
• External Display/Monitor make & model, if any.
• Please share the Illustrator file and any placed/ linked or embedded files (PNG, JPG, PDF, etc.) here or via DM.

This info will help us investigate this ongoing issue. Looking forward to your response.
