Hi! I usually create resources for fashion design students and I came with the problem that all the brushes I have created in Illustrator in my computer (that use Windows), cannot be used on illustrator on a Mac computer. Is there any way to export brushes library that can be use for both operative systems??

Thanks!

Then it might be better to open your brush libraries as .ai files and resave them as version Illustrator CC legacy files.

A brushes library is an .ai file.

AI files can be opened cross platform, what are the problems when opening a brushes library?

Hi! thanks for the reply! Yes that is what I thought! but my students with Mac OS opened the libraries and saw nothing, like an empty file. they double click on the file, or also import the library from the brushes panel but couldnt use them.

While students with Windows could see and use the brushes with no problem
