Customize illustrator placed item context menu

Hey Guys

I have been trying to add a new item to the placed item menu using the script. Is it possible to do so?

It's not possible with Scripting. I have no idea if you could with the SDK

As mentioned by @Carlos, If you want to do with Javascript(scripting), then it is not possible in Illustrator. Illustrator does not have any API that allows to edit menus.

Sorry, I myself never tried that with the SDK.
