I would like to deconstruct a photo using image trace (for eg. 6 colours) and then I want to be able to print each colour on a separate page.  I can't figure out how to separate them.  Any thoughts?

Thanks

With the image trace object selected, try Object >Expand> Or Expand Appearnce (Whichever is available). This should yield selectable objects.
