Edit Original Feature Not Opening File In Illustrator With New Update

My Illustrator just updated this morning and now when I click the Edit Original button for my .ai links in InDesign, they will not open in Illustrator.

I restared Illustrator and it seems to be working now so no help needed. I tried to delete my post, but I don't see an option for that.

Which version of Illustrator did you update to? I have AI 24.3 and InDesign 15.1.2.

I just check an old InDesign file (from 2012) and I still can edit the original placed AI files.
