I am experiencing since last few updates, the nodes if we want to move after converting type to outlines, snapes back to its original position. Seems to be a bug and annoying as it is not allowing to move the node to desired position.

Anyone having this issues and any solution to this?

Can you check if any snapping option is turned on? Snap to pixel or Snap to grid?

Are you perhaps zoomed in very close? For that situation poeple have posted this issue.

You could try and deactivate the smart guides.

And maybe post this as a bug report/feature request to http://illustrator.uservoice.com

Thanks, have posted in the bug section.

It's either way, zoom out or in tried all possible options. Have treid to execute expand function on the object, and sometime it works and sometimes doesn't with that hack. The baisc illusrating capablity seems to be gone to move nodes... I had to do this in Affinity Designer as it is waste of time struggling creating and modifying simple custome shape in illustrator.
