Hi, the first time in Adobe Illustrator 2020. I just installed it and immediately decided to try to make art on the tutorial from YuTube, but I ran into a problem, when I click the "put" button, this error is generated. Please help

Im from Russia and in picture text is: "Illustrator could not read the file. Try to specify a valid link instead of the current one"

Try changing the name of the jpeg file.

Just an idea, very long name, maybe hidden deep down in many folders would make the path to the linked file too long.

If you open the file in Photoshop and resave it, does that work?
