Hello Everyone.

I am using AI 2021.

I created my new swatches through the swatch panel.

but everytime when I open a new file, my saved swatch disappears and it only shows the default swatch.

Anyone knows how I can fix this?

Thank you.

Swatches are saved with the document.

If you create a new file you only get the swatches that are part of the document preset.

Nothing has fundamentally changed about how swatches work.

Did you use Swatch libraries saved from Illustrator, or CC libraries?

You can save a file's swatches as a library in the Swatch panel menu.

Thank you for your reply.

I remember ai 2018 the colours will be saved in our libraries which allows us to use swatches previously saved.

Is there a way for ai 2021?
