I create designs in both Indesign and Illustrator and every time I print, I see these thin white lines appear. These lines are not at all present in my work and could appear directly in the middle of the shape. I have tried printing directly from Illustrator and tried converting to PDF under multiple settings (turning off editing, the different modes, preventing fast web view, etc.), PNG, and JPEG. Each time I print I still see these lines. Does anyone know what to do about it? It is hitting the point where I might need to find an alternative design tool. This happens on every document no matter how new. It is also not a printer problem as I got a new printer and can print even a solid black box off Word and not see these lines.

Would need to see the artwork in order to check out if it's the printer or Illustrator.

If you click the jpg on the post, I show you the final product. it should not be printer because this is happening on multiple printers. if I take a screenshot of the pdf and paste in in Word and print the lines aren't there.

Yes, but still need to see the artwork in order to check out what might have caused it. Also:what kind of printer is it?
