Hello All,
I upgraded my Illustrator from 23.1.1 to the latest this morning but noticed the option to export an ai file to a normalized pdf is gone. Normalized PDFs contain metadata that we need to continue our prepress processes. Anyone else have this issue or concern?
Do you use external plug-ins (ESKO maybe)?
The standard PDF settings never had a Normalized PDF option.
Depend on the setting in the Ink Manager.

That must be it. I didn't have my plug-ins loaded and forgot that was an esko thing. Thanks for your help!

@Ton Frederiks I have Adobe Illustrator 23.4 (64bit) or Adobe Illustrator 2020. I already install Esko Data Exchange 20 (CC2018, CC2019, &CC2020) and when I try to export my file, I don't find the normalized PDF in the selection. And when I check the Preferences > Esko > PDF Export Preferences refer to image A, but when I check the other computer the same AI versions and Esko plugins and can export a normalized PDF refer to image B. I figured out that they have different UI, is this matter for the problem?
Image A. The AI without normalized.
Image B. The AI with normalized.

I think for questions about Esko plug-ins, it is better to contact Esko.
