Exported a logo. Can't open original file anymore

I exported a logo and when I did that the gradient was very choppy. I wanted to go back to the original and fix it but it won't let me open it. I really don't want to start over from scratch. Thanks

Does that mean you saved it as a cloud document or to the Creative Cloud files folder?

In both cases older versions of your files are available online.
