Exported a logo. Can't open original file anymore

I exported a logo and when I did that the gradient was very choppy. I wanted to go back to the original and fix it but it won't let me open it. I really don't want to start over from scratch. Thanks

Impossible to know anything without specific info about your file, your computer, where you stored the file, what's in it and so on.

Does that mean you saved it as a cloud document or to the Creative Cloud files folder?

In both cases older versions of your files are available online.
