Exported image ends up wrong dimensions

Hi

I have a square artboark, that I want to export as a square bitmap or tif, fo me to load into photoshop (see export1.jpg).

When I open it in photoshop, it's a portrait rectangle (see export2.jpg).

How do I get it to export bitmap or tif the at the correct dimensions?

Also, is it possible to stipulate a pixel size on the way out, like with web save? I want it to be 3000 pixels square.

If you want a 300o px square export, create a 3000 px square artboard and export as 72 ppi with Use Artboards checked.
