Exporting Illustrator Layers

Does anyone have a reliable script to export layers from illustrator as jpeg? I am trying to create a gif from illustrations created on illustrator but can not figure out to how to them to photoshop.

Have you considered placing your individual graphics on their own individual Artboard? If so, you could quickly export out all of these graphics using…

 

File > Export > Export for Screens

 

This dialog box has the ability to export out either Artboards or Assets. Just look for the tabs near the top of the dialog box.

You can export your Illustrator file to PSD and then continued in PS from there (File > Export).

 

Just promote any objects that you want to animated in PS to their own Layer in AI first.
