Extendscript toolkit does not run under Catalina, as its a 32 bit application. You can use a VSCode Extension released by Adobe, found at the following location

VSCode is an editor like Extended Toolkit. Whatever you write in Extended Toolkit you can write in VS Code as well. So you can write javascript in VS Code as well.

Hi,

ExtendScript Toolkit is not supoorted on OS Catalina. There are two options

1. Use Extended Debugger for VSCode. Here is the link

 https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=Adobe.extendscript-debug

2. Downgrade OS version.
