fonts not showing up in CS5

I have CS5 on windows 10. There are many fonts on my main system font folder that are not showing up in illustrator.  they are .pfm font files.  Previous machine with windows 10 worked fine.

Any ideas?  thanks in advance!

Have you tried googling pfm font files? From the descriptions they are Type 1 fonts which are no longer viable in current OSes.

will look into thanks.  A lot of my font library is .pfm, will be a pain to replace and update them all
