Hi.
I'm trying to use the Freeform Gradient tool within a Dynamic Symbol. I created a symbol, I used it to generate a shape in a file and I now want to fill the shape with a Freeform Gradient, but it won't work : I can only use the standard gradients, non the Freeform one. Does anyone knows if it is possible ?
Thank you very much in advance for your help.
It is possible to direct-select a path within a Dynamic Symbol and apply a Freeform Gradient by clicking with the Eyedropper tool on a path filled with that gradient; however, my experience is that results and subsequent behavior can be unpredictable and unsettling. I would advise frequent saves and backups of the document as you go—always good practice anyway, but especially so using Freeform Gradients. I love 'em, but I don't trust 'em.
