Hi, I'm a new user and looks like I messed up some settings. Whenever I'm trying to draw a shape the results are coming in 3D instead of 2D. Please help

Hi, Andy. Somehow you've applied a 3D Extrude & Bevel effect to your Human 1 level. Look in the Layers panel at the circle to the far right of Human 1 and you will see that the circle is filled with gray, indicating that an effect has been applied to that layer, meaning that any object added to that layer will have that effect.

Click on the circle, then open the Appearance panel (Window menu > Appearance) and you will see a bar labeled 3D Extrude & Bevel. Click and drag that bar to the trash can in the lower right corner (or click the bar to highlight it, then click the trash can) to remove the effect.

Learn about the Appearance panel - it is amazing what can be accomplished there.
