Glyph Issues

I am having issues where certain people on my team can't see inch marks or other glyphs. It changes them to boxes. Anyone know how to solve this? Thank you

Is this an Illustrator document or a converted pdf?

Do they have font warnings turned on?

It is Illustrator, has not been converted.

When you saved the file did you allow the font to be subsetted or did you include the whole font? Sounds like the font included didn't have the required glyph.

What happens if you change the font to, for example, Arial?

It is Arial.
