Grid not showing on zoom

Hello,

all of the sudden AI stopped to show the grid on zooming in more than 600%. I cannot figure out why. I went back to prefs and unchecked/ re-checked show grid on zoom, changed the color to a really bright pink, but it is still not showing. Any help? I would very much appriciate any advice!

Go to View > Pixel Preview, now you see the Pixel Grid above 600% zoom.
