Help my work has turned milky white and cant select anything

I need help I was working on this slide presentation when all my work turned into a shade of white no mater how much I go back it wont remove it and if I print or preview the color remains the same

Select the ball next to a layer name in the layers panel. Look in the appearance panel. Has the layer opacity changed?
