Hi,

I've just purchased Ai.

When I open Ai, home screen is not OK (screenshot below).

I can open the file from File Explorer.

While  I was using the trial version, everything was OK.

Try signing out and then back in to your Creative Cloud account.

Turn the Home Screen off from within the General section of the Preferences. Then try turning it back on.

Have you tried resetting the Preferences?

How to set preferences in Illustrator

"Press and hold Alt+Control+Shift (Windows) or Option+Command+Shift (macOS) as you start Illustrator. You are prompted to delete the current settings. The new preferences files are created the next time you start Illustrator."

If I follow your workaround, is there any way to migrate the current settings?

Or should I set the preferences from the scratch?

Thank you very much for your reply.

I would recommend totally resetting the preferences which will hopefully remove anything within your settings that might have become corrupted in any way.

Doing this will only reset the preferences for Illustrator. Any other Adobe programs such as Photoshop or InDesign will remain unchanged.

Have you made lots of changes to Illustrator that you want to keep?

OK

I will try, after I finish the current project.

There should be no change for now.

Thank you for your help.
