How can I convert vectors to text?

Hello, my question is that, I need to convert a paragraph that is in vectors to text to be able to write what I want, but I do not know if it is possible since my knowledge in illustrator is not that wide.

With Illustrator you cannot do that.

The plugin VectorFirstAid can do that, provided the font is installed.

You may do a search for optical character recognition.

 

There are some applications that may provide excellent results. Adobe Acrobat is one of them, by the way, but the files have to be prepared in order to process them successfuly. Depends on what you actually have.
