How can you hide print objects on overlapping artboards

If you have overlapping artboards, can you set an object to only appear on a desired artboard and not another when exporting to a PDF. I know pretty specific, but we are overlapping vinyl decals and use the overlap space for decal information. This information is covered by the neighboring decal when the decal is installed.

TLDR

Layer 1 to only print on Artboard 1

Layer 2 to only print on Artboard 2

Any suggestions and even a third party plugin would be appreciated!

Thanks!

Unfortunately, Nothing in Ai can do that.
Take a look at this script to see if it can help you:
