How would you suggest to get a distressed paper look like the one in this illustration?
Thanks!
There are ways to do that using pure vector art, but it would be kind of inappropriate and perhaps even ludicrous. In Illustrator there are a lot of pixel based effects and if you are clever, you may get some very good results by combining some of them.
But often this is just a waste of time because you can get better results way more easy by just finding a paper with a similar texture, scan it and use it as a template.
Or get/create some paper texture image, put it on top of your artwork and use a blending mode like multiply.
