My problem is how to reach the 3 dots that enable me the customize the advanced main toolbar. especially when I installed several plugins that occupied the places in my main tools.

... is there is any way disable some of my plugins temporally so I can customize the other plugins. or can I customize the tools bar outside Illustrator? in some sort of folders?

I am still can make a new toolbar and I can customize it.

please see my screenshot to see what I mean

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out. My suggestion would be to start customization by creating a new workspace or toolbar.
You may also try switching the toolbar between Basic and Advanced once and see if you get the option to customize the toolbar.

Hope it helps.

Regards,

Ashutosh

Thank you @ashutosh for your reply

actually, your solution wouldn't help because in the basic toolbar mood the tools inside (which are in the advanced mood) are dimmed, and it not possible to drag it to a new toolbar.

I researched this as well and came up with the same problem and solution. This makes me think it isn't a bug and possibly a needed feature. If you'd like, you can submit a feature/bug request to the Illustrator team for this here... Illustrator Feature Request
