How to draw line like this in Illustrator?

Hi. I just started using Illustrator today and I wanted to create lines as shown on the attached image. I watched few tutorials from Youtube and tried the Profile Stroke on brush setting but all couldn't get the result I wanted. How can I draw smooth curve line with pointed ends like this in Illustrator?

In your example probably the premade width profiles don't help a lot. You should apply your own with the width tool.

Please show your own results and point out what you don't like about them.

It is probably best to learn how to draw curves wit the Pen tool.
