We are developing couple of plugins for Illustrator and are in the process of developing the installer for the plugins to support deployment. Users of our plugin can be on Illustrator 2019 or 2020. How to detect the currently installed version of Illustrator and also detect the path to the folder where plugins need to be deployed so that it will be loaded by Illustrator on startup. Generic search on google indicated no direct way of knowing it from registry.
