Huge file size because of adobe capture cc pattern fills ?

HI My file size .ai is huge and I am suspecting it's because I have several adobe capture cc pattern fills applied , but not quite sure.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!:)

Make them in exactly the resolution you need (only you know which resolution that will be).

You might need Photoshop to do that while preserving sharpness. When scaling down you will of course lose detail, but you can sharpen the image so that it at least looks sharp.

Tkx Monika will try that. Is there a way to edit the pattern to compress it or do i need to recreate the pattern from scratch using a smaller file size?

Apply the pattern in Photoshop and then use Photoshops pattern manager to find out the size of the pattern.

Manage pattern libraries and presets in Photoshop

Sorry, can't find any thorough documentation on this Ps feature.
