I have gradients as backgrounds in Photoshop and need to send the printer illustrator files. I converted them using standard saving techniques and they look right on screen. However, when I did a test print of this, it came out as a block colour instead. Can anyone help please?
Thank you

Do you print directly from Illustrator? Yes. I've been told that it might be because it needs a professional printer. It prints fine from Photoshop on my printer, but, although the screen looks identical in Illustrator, it prints the gradient as a block.
Thank you.
