I use Adobe fonts elsewhere on my site and they all look fine.
It's in German, maybe Google can translate it for you? That was the latest I could find:

Which technique to use seems to depend on how to put the SVG on the website.

You will need specific code to use webfonts in an SVG.
You need to edit the SVG and add that code or maybe call those fonts in the HTML document where you use the SVG.

I guess that's what I am looking for - the code, and how/where to add it. The code Adobe gives me to embed fonts always seems the same no matter what web font I am using: <link rel="stylesheet" href="https://use.typekit.net/esc4dbw.css">. I have this line of code at the top of every page in my website, including the pages that have the SVGs I'm talking about.
