Hello creatives!

I am progressing through a portfolio piece and I am really pleased with how its coming along. My issue is I am not sure how to seperate parts of an object. The main image, the bat has parts that need to be flower colored and others need to be bat colored. As you can see there is this awkward brown spot because I dont know how to move the anchor parts around individually. Lastly, my eraser tool is not erasing. Any videos or advice would be lovely. thanks!Fruit Bat Logo portfolio sample.jpg

Here is a closer screenshot. As you can see, theres a part of the bat wing is green, when it should be brown. I would ideally like to seperate the leafs, flowers, and bat to seperate objects, they are currently on the same path as you see.

In order to fill parts differently, try the live paint tool.

Draw empty paths in order to separate areas further.
