Illistrator pen Delay

So on my pen display, I have a problem with illustrator where when I go to make a line with my pen set to the brush tool there is a delay. I don't mean there is lag, I mean I can touch my pen to the screen and the lin will only start a certain distance from the start point. It is measurably the same distance every time, I can circle the start point 5 minutes with no line till I pass a certain distance straight out from the start. There is no such delay when making a line with my mouse however. All of my drivers are up to date, and I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling both illustrator and my pen display software. No other vector art program does this that I have been able to test. sorry for talking in circles, this is driving me up the wall. Any help is appreciated.

Pen Display: Gaomon pd2200

The rest of my PC is very High End and all drivers up to date.

This is not the problem with pen or the software linked to that pen. 

Kindly share the PC details (specs) that you're using.

Cpu: intel i7 10th 5.10 ghz

Gpu: radeon 5700 xt 8GB

Ram: 32GB

Storage: 1TB Ssd and 2TB HHD I have tried running illistrator on both.

Pen Display: Gaomon Pd2200 with all drivers up to date.

I have tested other vector programs with no issues, its just illistrator.

At which zoom level are you working?

Are you working with either "Snap to grid" or "Snap to pixel" turned on?
