Hello,

I've been using Illustrator for a while, but now I'm stuck with something obscure and very silly.

I want to use the brush with NO stroke (as I've been using for years), but everytime I paint the stroke is applied nontheless (with the same color as the fill). It just doesn't want to stick to the no-stroke option, and I have to applied the no stroke manually after every brush applied.

This happen with any brush. The 'new art has basic apparence' option is unchecked. Pencil is working just fine.

Any idea?

Thanks

No, you have not been using this for years.

The brush tool has always applied a brush stroke.

What you want to do is use the pencil tool.
